The Comfort Mat EXTREME PRO vibration-damping mats have a total thickness of 6 mm with a foil thickness of 2 x 0.10 mm

Application

Assembly
- heating to 50c required
- Degrease the surface
- Press firmly with a roller (short/long)

Instructions for correct application:

1. Surface Preparation : Ensure the surface where the mat will be applied is clean, dry, and flat. Remove any dirt, dust, or oil.
2. Remove the backing paper : Before heating the mat, remove the backing paper. This is important because the backing paper is coated with silicone, which can damage the mat's adhesive when heated.
3. Heating the Mat : Gently heat the mat to at least 50 degrees Celsius using a suitable heat source. This makes the mat more flexible and improves adhesion.
4. Applying the Mat : Carefully apply the heated mat to the prepared surface. Press/roll the mat firmly and smooth out any air bubbles for optimal adhesion and finish.

Advice Second Layer

After installing a Vibration-dampening Mat, we recommend applying a second layer of damping. Depending on the application, you can choose a sound-insulating/absorbing material.
