Plug & Play application to plug in so that original vehicle cables do not need to be damaged.

The finished Molex connection ensures that there is always no phase polarity reversal between the right and left channels and that the power amplifier or active woofer is connected in the correct phase.

If the polarity of the left and right speaker cables is reversed when manually picking up the signal (for example, the cable's polarity is difficult to determine), this can cause an active woofer to not produce bass, or the bass in the speakers to be muffled. Therefore, picking up the signal with this Molex connector is very important for the sound.

Note: Make sure the correct Quadlock connector type fits (power quadlock or regular quadlock)! The Power Quadlock has a thicker positive and negative cable.

Application examples:

1. Signal tap for amplifier (up to 4 channels) for speakers

The signal from the front and/or rear speaker can be separated with a Molex connector.
The signal is sent to the power amplifier with a 0.75mm2 Molex extension and the amplified signal can be sent back with a 1.5mm2 Molex extension.

2. Signal tap for an active woofer

The original front and rear speaker lines are not separated here, but only the parallel Molex connection is used to capture the front signal.
With a 0.75mm2 Molex extension you can extend to the active woofer, provided it has a Molex high-level IN.

3. Signal tap for high-low converter

(both front channels or both rear channels) for the AAC.3Molex with pre-wired plus and minus connections. A Molex extension is no longer necessary here, as the signal is transmitted via a RCA line.

4. Signal tap for amplifier (as example 1) with additional active woofer

Up to four speaker channels can be separated here, allowing an amplifier with a Molex signal input to be supplied with a signal and the amplified signal to be routed back to the speakers via a 1.5mm² Molex extension. Additionally, an active woofer with a Molex High-Level-IN or an AAC.3 Molex with a power connection can be connected.

Note: If the power amplifier or active woofer does not have a Molex high-level input, the connector can also be crimped and the cables connected loosely accordingly.

In any case, almost all applications can be realised with this connecting element.
