The integration of car hi-fi components into existing original equipment sound systems is becoming increasingly complex due to intelligent radio diagnostic systems and the lack of preamplifier outputs on factory radios. The HLM-SUB-PQUADLOCK allows for easy retrofitting of an active subwoofer using a Powerquadlock connection.

The smartest high-low converter in its class:
Thanks to the integrated ADEP.3 circuit, which bypasses the radio diagnostic system, error messages or even the omission of individual functions (such as faders) are a thing of the past.
The intelligent ADEP.3 circuit prevents distorted music signals and the increased distortion factor that can occur with conventional high-low converters. It also reduces the load on the car radio amplifier and reduces power consumption by up to 70%.
Smart signal detection
Its "Double Activation Circuit" also generates a +12V remote signal in two different ways to activate connected amplifiers. It detects the DC voltage potential at the speaker outputs of standard factory car radios or uses integrated signal recognition with variable input sensitivity, which can also be activated.
Standard equipment also includes "Power Save Mode," which disables the external output if there is no input signal for more than 2 minutes. This is because many vehicles with CAN or similar bus systems leave the car radio activated "invisibly" for up to 45 minutes, even if you've left the vehicle in the meantime.
Suitable for high resolution
The HLM generates a high-quality preamplifier signal from the speaker signal of the car radio or amplifier of an original sound system, making it easy to connect additional amplifiers. The exceptionally wide transmission range of 18 Hz to 80,000 Hz guarantees excellent sound and enables high resolution.
